The diploma thesis deals with the area of learning and development of a selected group of employees in a specific organization. The aim of the thesis is to describe, analyse, and evaluate the current state of learning and development of a selected group of employees in a specific organization and to propose possible recommendations for improvement. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part of the thesis, relevant concepts from the field of andragogy, educational management and human resources management are defined in relation to the researched issue. The empirical part consists of methodology and research in the field of employee learning and development. The research is divided into partial phases that describe, analyse, and evaluate the current state of learning and development of a selected group of employees. The diploma thesis focuses on the area of strategic management of a selected educational organization, which is a vocational school. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, attention is paid to the theoretical basis, that is the field of education, management in a broader context and strategic management with specifics in education. The diploma thesis also focuses on the selected educational organization and its characteristics, and the general specifics of special schools. The research part analyzes the current state of management of the organization and using interviews and a questionnaire survey information is obtained to meet the goal of the thesis, to compile a development strategy for a selected organization. Educational management of pedagogical staff

The diploma thesis analyzes the current problems associated with further education of pedagogical staff in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, characterizes the current system of education, new trends in further education of teachers and provides an overview of further education in some EU countries. The practical part evaluates the results of a research survey, which includes the analysis and comparison of data obtained from structured interviews, questionnaires and annual reports of schools. Problems in further education of pedagogical staff, its quality, method of implementation and factors that affect it are, among other things, assessed with regard to the specific needs of teachers for working with pupils with special educational difficulties. Talent management in secondary education in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the topic of talent management in relation to teaching staff in second- ary education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe its current state and to find out how talented teachers are cared for in Czech secondary schools and how princi- pals perceive talented teachers and talent management. The thesis defines and puts into context the concepts of teaching staff, teacher stand- ard, talented teacher, talent and giftedness as well as talent management. A newly developed definition of a talented educator is also included. The specifics description of the Czech schools' environment for the talent management implementation in terms of individual pro- cesses is followed by a questionnaire survey. The research results are linked to the context of Czech education and compared with the results of previous investigations of talent man- agement in Czech organisations. The care of Czech teachers is very specific from the talent management perspective. The teaching profession is demanding and Czechia lacks a functional career system and a generally accepted teacher standard. Further teacher's education in the area of digital skills from the perspective of educational management

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of further education of teachers in the field of digital competencies from the perspective of educational management. This subject was chosen not only of its topicality, but also due to the strategic dimension of further education of teachers and their digital skills, which reflect the key documents of MŠMT. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on theses related to educational management, further education of teachers and ends with a chapter dealing with digital competencies. The research part of the diploma thesis pays attention to the offer and demand of further education of teachers and the reflection of digital competencies of teachers through qualitative research and data analysis. Specifically, the research survey consists of semi- structured interviews conducted with primary school teachers in the capital city of Prague, analysis of data from the Teacher's digital competences framework and analysis of selected websites collecting the offer of further education of teachers. Analysis of conceptual framework of educational management in peer-reviewed pedagogical journals in 2000-2017

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual framework of education management in peer-reviewed journals. The theoretical part is focused on the summary of the existing knowledge about all contexts related to the field of education management from the point of view of the time perspective. It draws on both foreign and domestic sources. Attention will also be paid to the current issue of terminologically uninterrupted important educological terms related to the management of education. Further chapters will focus on educational theories, leadership perspectives in education, lifelong learning, adult education and senior education. The research part is focused on the content analysis of the Czech peer- reviewed pedagogical journals Pedagogika, Pedagogická orientace and Studia paedagogica. Its aim is to analyze how the conceptual framework of education management in the years 2000-2017 developed in them. Support for elementary school teachers' self-education and professional development from organizations directed by the MEYS

The aim of this thesis is to identify forms and areas of support for teachers in the self-education originating from other selected organizations directly managed by MEYS, and evaluate usability of support for the professional development of elementary school teachers. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with self-education as an important process that participates in the professional development of teachers. It also deals with methods of education, sources of information and the possibilities of self-management of self-education from the perspective self-educated person as well as external subjects. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on quantitative survey research focusing on MEYS for supported development of teachers - by the National Institute for Education and the National Institute for Further Education. For the purpose of identifying the available forms and areas of support for teachers in self-education, especially the support of elementary school teachers, a content analysis of the institutions documents was performed. The Management of the education is the five years old filed of study of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. This dissertation is looks for some trends of this field, based on all dissertations of the department for the period 2012-2016. The dissertation also provides an overview that is good for understanding of important concepts such as management, school management, educational policy or management ef education. The main goal of this dissertation is to map the development of topics and contents that have appeared during the last five years in the dissertation of the department, to analyze the problems that were most often encountered and to find out which factors influenced the selection of themes and the whole process.

This diploma thesis analyses the content of articles of the international journal "The International Journal of Educational Management" (IJEM). The magazine focuses on educational management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze proffesional articles, which were published in this journal between 2000 and 2015. The major theories of the educational management for the period of 2000 - 2015 were based on these results. The diploma thesis contains two main parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the educational management and the development of it. Next is the describtion of the procedure and methods of content analysis. Analytical part contains the results of analyzes that were evaluated. The conclusion of the thesis is based on the results of the analysis and is responsible for the research work.
